HNB Non-Insulated Hook Terminal Thick Tin-plated Red Copper Bare Hook Wiring Terminal

Product Description

HNB non-insulated hook terminal is bare hook-style cold crimp connector without insulating sheath. Featured with ergonomic curved hook structure, it can be directly hung on bolts, screws and terminal studs without removing fasteners completely, greatly speeding up wiring operation.
Adopts thickened solid red copper raw material with tin-plated surface treatment, which delivers outstanding electrical conductivity, low contact resistance, excellent high temperature resistance and anti-oxidation performance. Compact bare structure occupies less space, perfectly fits narrow installation space and closed built-in wiring scenes.
It owns proper elastic tension to keep firm contact after hanging, not easy to loose and fall off. Integral one-piece stamping ensures solid structure, strong crimping fastness and great tensile strength. Wide range of specifications satisfy various low-voltage heavy-current wiring demands, fully conform to international export standards.

How to Choose the Right Non-Insulated Hook Terminal
Follow these professional guidelines to select the perfect non-insulated hook terminal for your wiring project.
1. Match Wire Gauge
Choose the terminal according to the wire cross-sectional area:
Small: 0.5~1.5mm²
Medium: 2.5~4.0mm²
Large: 6.0~10mm²
Mismatched size causes poor crimping, overheating and loose connection.
2. Fit Screw Stud Size
Select hook opening to match mounting screw: M3, M4, M5, M6.
Too large leads to instability; too small cannot be installed.
3. Material Selection
High-purity Copper: High conductivity, low heat, anti-oxidation, ideal for industrial and automotive use.
Tin-plated Copper: Anti-rust and anti-corrosion, cost-effective for general cabinet wiring.
Tin-plated high-purity copper is the best all-round choice.
4. Plate Thickness & Hardness
Thicker terminals offer stronger load capacity, deformation resistance and vibration tolerance.
Soft material is easy for crimping; hard reinforced type suits vibrating equipment.
5. Application Scenarios
Standard Type: Distribution box, control cabinet
Locking Type: Anti-drop for automotive harness and mechanical vibration environment
Compact Type: Slim design for narrow installation space
6. Surface Treatment
Tin-plated: Anti-oxidation & corrosion, stable conductivity, recommended for most applications
Bare Copper: Maximum conductivity, only suitable for dry indoor environment
7. Crimping & Installation
Use a dedicated matching crimping tool.
Qualified crimping is firm, crack-free and pull-resistant, ensuring long-term safe electrical connection.

Application Scope

  • Electrical control cabinet quick terminal wiring
  • Low voltage power distribution equipment internal connection
  • Industrial machinery equipment simple fixed wiring
  • Instrument and meter circuit temporary connection
  • Household power equipment convenient line assembly
  • Closed electrical box internal compact wiring layout

Installation Steps

  1. Strip wire insulation to suitable length and expose copper core
  2. Insert stranded wire fully into terminal crimping barrel
  3. Crimp tightly evenly with professional cold crimp pliers
  4. Hang hook head directly on bolt or terminal post to complete connection

Precautions

  1. Select corresponding HNB specification according to wire gauge and bolt size
  2. Must be installed in closed insulated space to prevent short circuit risk
  3. Not recommended for long-term use in severe vibration environment
  4. Do not over-crimp to avoid terminal structural deformation
