Below are the most common questions B2B buyers and engineers ask about our terminal blocks, connectors and custom manufacturing. Can’t find your answer? Contact our team or reach us on WhatsApp for a fast quote and free samples.
What is a PCB terminal block and what is it used for?
A PCB terminal block (also called a printed-circuit-board connector) is a screw, spring or push-in connector mounted directly on a circuit board to create a secure, tool-friendly interface between wired field cabling and the PCB. Good Electric supplies screw-type, plug-in and barrier PCB terminal blocks used in industrial control, power supplies, automation and instrumentation.
What is the difference between screw-type and spring / push-in terminal blocks?
Screw terminals use a clamping screw for a very robust, vibration-resistant connection and are ideal for high-current and frequent maintenance. Spring (cage-clamp) and push-in terminals use a stainless spring to lock the stripped wire without tools, giving faster wiring and reliable contact in vibration-prone environments. Both are available across our product lines.
Are Good Electric terminals certified (UL, TÜV, CE, RoHS)?
Yes. Our wire terminals and connectors are certified to UL, TÜV, CE, RoHS and CCC, and the factory operates under ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 quality and environmental systems. Every batch is fully tested before shipment. Certificate copies and a dedicated certifications page are available on request.
Do you offer WAGO 260 series compatible equivalents?
Yes. Our cage-clamp connector range includes WAGO 260 series compatible equivalents (e.g. 262-301, 262-331 and matching cross-reference models) for direct replacement in existing designs. Cross-reference guides are published on the blog to help engineers swap models safely.
What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ) and do you provide free samples?
Standard products have no strict minimum order quantity, and we support small trial orders with flexible MOQ. Free samples are available so you can test our quality before placing larger orders. Custom and OEM/ODM items are quoted case by case.
What are your typical lead times and do you support OEM / ODM?
Lead times are competitive and confirmed per order; standard items ship faster while custom designs follow a prototype-to-mass-production schedule. We provide full OEM/ODM services, working with your team from drawing and sample approval through to volume production.
Which wire ranges and cross-reference models do you cover?
We cover a broad range from 0.5 mm² up to 16 mm²+ across PCB, DIN-rail, cage-clamp and cold-pressed copper terminal families, including SV/RV pre-insulated terminals and equivalent models for major brands. Contact us with your target model or drawing for an exact cross-reference.
